Meal components: veggie
- 3 cups Brussel sprouts halved
- 1 tsp Batko maple flavor
- 1 scoop powdered stevia
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- Toss all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, coating the Brussels in the seasoning mixture.
- Place the Brussels on a silicone baking mat on a sheet tray. Place the tray in a 400-degree oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes or until they begin to brown. Toss occasionally during cooking to brown evenly.
- These can also be sauteed in a pan stovetop. For this method, steam the brussels first in water to soften. Then toss with the seasonings in the recipe above and saute in a pan over high heat, just to nicely brown them.
