- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- On a baking sheet with lip or shallow baking pan place halved tomatoes, cut side up. Brush each tomato with balsamic vinegar on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the tomatoes are juicy and have a deep brown skin.
- Remove from the oven. Sprinkle tomatoes with basil and serve.
Make this in bulk and easily reheat in oven or microwave for additional meals.
