Ingredients
  • 4 medium tomatoescut in half around the equator
  • 1tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4cup thinly sliced fresh basil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. On a baking sheet with lip or shallow baking pan place halved tomatoes, cut side up. Brush each tomato with balsamic vinegar on top.
  3. Bake for 40 minutes or until the tomatoes are juicy and have a deep brown skin.
  4. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle tomatoes with basil and serve.
