Meal components: protein + veggie
Instructions
- Add pearl onions and water to a large saute pan. Turn heat to low, cover the pan and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the balsamic and stir. Cover and cook for another 15 minutes over low heat. Add a tbsp of water at a time if the pan begins to get to dry. Add kosher salt and stevia, stir and remove from heat. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, mix the ground chicken, rosemary and salt.
- Press the chicken mix into an eight-inch pizza pan. Cover with plastic wrap and press again or use a rolling pin to make the chicken as flat and even as possible. Remove the plastic wrap.
- Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes, the chicken crust will begin to brown.
- Remove from the oven and place the pearl onions over the crust (arranging them nicely!) then return the meatza to the oven for one more minute. Remove and serve garnished with parsley.
Recipe Notes
- Reserve 1 tbsp of the balsamic to drizzle over the pizza at the end. - Be sure to put all the onion sliced side down onto the meatza - this makes for a pretty pattern. Food that looks good tastes good!

I’m a pescatarian and I’ve done the HCG diet. It is hard for me to find recipes to maintain my weight. What can I do?

Seems like for many recipes you could just sub whatever meat is in the recipe for a seafood protein instead? That’s my best guess there. You can even make shrimp meat crusts for these meatzas! We have a recipe like that but you could do it with all- just needs a little egg white as a binder.
