Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Heat an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown on both sides, until golden brown, approximately 1 to 2 minutes per side.
- Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and top with lemon slices.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add asparagus, dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and dried basil to a large bowl. Toss to combine.
- When the skillet comes out from the oven, add shaved asparagus mixture. The asparagus will wilt enough in the pan but will still be a little crunchy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
- Garnish with cracked pepper if desired
