P2 hCG Diet Protein Veggie Recipe | Lemon Pepper Chicken & Shaved Asparagus | SP

Ingredients
  • 7oz boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1lemon Zest
  • 1/2lemon Juice
  • 1/2 lemonthinly sliced
  • 3cups shaved asparagus
  • 2tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1tsp dried basil
  • fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Heat an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown on both sides, until golden brown, approximately 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  3. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and top with lemon slices.
  4. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Add asparagus, dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and dried basil to a large bowl. Toss to combine.
  6. When the skillet comes out from the oven, add shaved asparagus mixture. The asparagus will wilt enough in the pan but will still be a little crunchy.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
  8. Garnish with cracked pepper if desired
