- 7 oz ground chicken
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cup red onions sliced
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups sliced apple
- 3 tbsp roasted garlic mashed (you can put these instant pot earlier so they are mashable)
- 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar

- In a saute pan, combine sliced onion, vinegar and water. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until the onions are soft. Remove the cover and cook until the liquid has almost evaporated (about 2 minutes). Set the onions aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
- Press the chicken mix into an eight-inch pizza pan. Cover with plastic wrap and press again or use a rolling pin to make the chicken as flat and even as possible. Remove the plastic wrap.
- Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes, the chicken crust will begin to brown.
- Remove from the oven and spread the mashed roasted garlic cloves across the crust.
- Sprinkle with the rosemary then place apple slices across the meatza. Distribute cooked onions across the top as well then return to oven for 2 minutes.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with vinegar. Serve hot!
- If you want the apple slices softer, add them to the pan with the onions in the last 5 minutes of cooking (cook the onions for 5 minutes, add apples, cook for another 5 minutes).
- Balsamic vinegar would also work well.
- You may find it’s a lot of apples to put on the meatza - you can always just use some, and eat the rest fresh/raw as a snack.
- Without the apple, the recipe is 190 cal per serving.
