Ingredients
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 8 cups thinly sliced romaine lettuce
- 2 tsp White pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice powder
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 8 cups fat free chicken broth
- 200 g red snapper or other white fish
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion

Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Toss in the thinly sliced lettuce and sauté for another minute.
- Season with white pepper, salt, Chinese 5 spice, and rice vinegar.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the snapper to the soup, cover, and simmer for 8-10 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
- Gently flake the fish apart with a fork.
- Ladle into bowls, drizzle each bowl with 1 tbsp of coconut aminos, and garnish with thinly sliced green onions.
- Serve!
