Meal components: Protein + Veggie
Instructions
- Add cabbage, salt, pepper and 5/6 beef broth to a large pot. Toss together.
- Boil over medium heat then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When cabbage is tender, remove from heat and set aside
- Add rest of the beef broth to large saucepan and heat over medium.
- Add onions and garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef abe cook, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Cook until the beef begins to brown.
- Add oregano to the pan, stir and cook for one minute,
- Add the cabbage and toss together with the beef. Cook for another two minutes then transfer to two bowls.
- Garnish with chopped green onions.
