P2 hCG Diet Veggie Recipe | Onion Rings | AP

Ingredients
  • 1 onion
  • 3sprays coconut oil
  • 2 grisinicrushed
  • 2tsp paprika
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp onion powder
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 2tbsp egg white
  • 1/4cup unsweetened almond milk
Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a sheet tray with parchment.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl and the egg white and almond milk together in a separate bowl.
  3. Slice the onion to make rings about 3/4 of an inch wide. Separate the rings so they are no longer intertwined.
  4. Dip each ring into the wet mixture and then into the dry. Tap off excess coating and then lay on sheet tray. Repeat until you have dipped all rings.
  5. Spray the rings on the tray with coconut oil then place in the oven to bake for about 10 minutes. Flip and bake for 5 more minutes to make extra crispy.
Recipe Notes

– If not using grissini, the onion rings will be more like spiced, baked onions rather than crispy rings but still delicious!
