P2 hCG Diet Recipe | Japanese Clear Onion Soup – SP
  • 2.5cups Onionsdiced
  • 2.5cups vegetable brothSP: use water instead
  • 2.5cups water
  • 1/2tsp minced garlic
  • 3tbsp chives
  • ½tsp salt
  • tsp pepper
  • 1tsp hot sauce
  • 2tsp coconut aminos
  1. Saute the onions in a large stock pot along with a splash of the vegetable broth (add about 2 tablespoons of the broth to help cook the onions). Let broth evaporate and allow the onions to brown slightly.
  2. Add the garlic and stir, cook for about 30 more seconds.
  3. Add vegetable broth and water and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Add chives, salt, pepper, hot sauce and coconut aminos. Stir and serve hot
Recipe Notes

This soup freezes very well

If allowing mixed vegetables, add ½ cup chopped celery

If allowing mixed veggies and AP, add 1 cup button mushrooms

Add more or less hot sauce depending on your taste.
