P2 hCG Diet Protein Veggie Recipe | Chicken and Celery Soup | SP

Ingredients
  • 2cups low calorie Chicken brothSP: use water instead
  • 2cups water
  • 7ounces chicken breast
  • 2tsp garlicminced
  • 2tbsp chopped onion
  • 4cups celery
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp pepper
  • 1/2tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4tsp paprika
  • 1/4tsp oregano
Instructions
  1. Cut raw chicken breast into 1 inch cubes and set aside.
  2. In large sauce pot saute the onions, garlic and celery along with about 1/4 of chicken broth. Cook for about 10 minutes until celery and onions are soft.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients, except the raw chicken, to sauce pot and bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, add chicken, lower heat to a simmer and cook for one hour.
  5. Bring the soup back up to a boil and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve.
Recipe Notes

If mixing veggies, add some chopped tomatoes or spinach. Freezes well.
