Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking stone or large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and anise seed in a large bowl and mix well.
Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking stone into a circle about 8”(?) in diameter.
Bake for 15 minutes.
While the crust bakes, toss the orange segments with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground clove.
Remove the crust from the oven and blot dry with paper towels, if necessary.
Arrange the seasoned orange segments on the crust and return to the oven for about 5 minutes, until the crust has browned and the oranges have begun to caramelize.
