hCG Diet Recipe | Lemon Mustard Chicken with Chard – SP

Ingredients
  • 7oz bonelessskinless chicken breast
  • 1 lemonjuiced
  • 2tsp lemon zest
  • 2tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1tbsp dried chives
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1/2tsp pepper
  • 3cups roughly chopped chard
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp garlic powder
  • 1tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4cup fat free chicken brothSP Option: use water instead
Instructions
  1. Whisk together the lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, chives, salt and pepper and marinate the chicken (in the fridge) for 1-2 hours (in a plastic bag or a shallow dish).
  2. Grill for 5-7 minutes per side. Sauté the chard over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
  3. Season with salt and garlic powder.
  4. Stir in apple cider vinegar and chicken broth.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
